Putting the finishing touches to the trike early this morning having
modified it to a 5-seater and built a new leading link front end. I thought
I'd just clean up a weld with the angle grinder prior to a bit of paint.
Came back about an hour later to put another coat of paint on and I notice a
pool of fluid on the floor. Arse. Brake fluid.
Looks like I was a bit keen with the grinder and nicked the brand new
custom-length braided stainless brake line. On inspection, it was the
laziness on my part for not cutting off the cable ties and moving the brake
line for better access with the grinder.
Anyway, got to get a couple of olives and a bit of 'line tomorrow as it's
off to a rally in Tewkesbury this weekend.
