The purpose of Armed Forces day is to honor Americans serving in the five
services including the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard.

message for Armed Forces Day Saturday

Saturday 20th of May 2006. Armed Forces Day. A day we salute those who keep
us all free and alive. A day we salute the sacrifices all Armed Forces make
day after day. Most come home. Some don't. We sometimes take life for
granted for what we have. If we stopped to think why we have these things,
we'd think of the men and women who fight for us to have them. Some get
ranked and some come home draped. Our flag is of our Nation so bright and
real. My hearts beats fast when I see her. Its a cop, firefighter, EMT, a
doctor, a Marine, an Army of One, the Navy, the pilots of the Air Force, a
World War 2, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom
Veteran and current soldiers that we should thank regardless of what all our
    differences are.

If it wasn't for them, we'd be a chaotic nation.
United We Must Stand. Divided We Fall.

I want to salute every man and woman who serves our country or served our
country to keep us free and safe one day at a time. May God bless you all
and Happy Armed Forces Day! Thank You!
