Are you willing to leave the question of proceedings to the chief constable?

    OK mucho paperworks come through from solicitors, insurance co. and finally
    the Road Traffic Collision Unit from Beds Police.

    Im ok about filling it in other than the question which asks

    "are you willing to leave the question of proceedings to the chief
    constable?" its a simple yes or no but im loathe to simply put either as im
    not sure what the pros and cons are?

    Anyone here got a clue about this at all?
    Yes i could ring them, but im not sure i would trust them :)
