are XR frames painted or powercoated?

    Hi all,

    does anyone know whether Honda XR 250 (92 model) frames are painted or
    powercoated? I am in the process of rebuilding the bike and am not
    sure whether I should be painting or powercoating... I guess
    powercoating would be more durable?
