So, tell me, O Righteous One, are the ten commandments laws?

It's a misuse of the word *shrug*.

Just say something like "Have they caught the killer yet?"

They are mistranslations, the current English versions have slightly
    different meanings to the original.

Unless the victim has been murdered, then they might not have been
    killed.

To make this line of logical reasoning even more interesting you need
to look up murder statistics in Oz. When a person is charged with
murder and found guilty then the victim is counted in our statistics
as having been murdered. Despite the minor fact that some of those
murdered people survived and are living amongst us today. :)

Oh really? so now you'll be arguing that you can't say "a murder has
been commited", or "Joe Bloggs was murdered", right?

I'd say they're commandments to be treated as laws by Christians and
other Jewish sects. I would argue that if the ten commandments are
what they are purported to be, then killing would be unlawful.

But we've got to wait for G-S, he's about tot trot out a bit of
weasel-wording wich will let any God botherer kill anyone they like,
as long as they believe it's sanctioned by God.

  13. His role is to arrange a trial if he feels there is a good chance the
court will decide the defendant is guilty.

How come you never responded to my abused wife senario?

So, until some has been caught and convicted, the person dead person
    has not been murdered, right?

    Guilty of what?
It was in a response you made to someone else. Why should I respond to
it? Do you feel you're lacking my attention or something?

  17. Now you're getting the idea. Until someone has been convicted, with or
without being caught as in tried in absentia or even tried after death, the
deceased has not been murdered. They are dead, they may have been killed but
they have not been murdered as there is not yet a murderer who murdered them
and you can't be murdered if there is no murderer.

So, You're walking down the road, a dude in a car pulls up, leaps out
stabs you to death for no reason whatsoever, gets back in his car and
drive over the horiszon. The killer is never caught, so therefore you
    haven't been murdered? That's what you're saying?

A woman is raped; her rapist is never caught; thefore she has not been
    raped?

I am robbed; the thief is never caught; therefore I have not been
    robbed?

Do they know you've somehow gained access to the asylum's computers?
