Agree with Betty here.
Some Usenet users (including some of the intelligentsia,
unfortunately) seem to think the kill file is a weapon. It's a control
freak thing, and often says more about the "plonker" (great word
that) than it does the "victim".
I find the opinions of some to be generally incompatible with mine,
but I don't always see this as a reason to filter them out. However I
would rather not waste time on annoying trolls, so out they go.

Totally in aggreeance with that, because if you killfile someone, as
knobless has done with myself and others,
he doesn't see what has been posted by his killfiled posters,
so inevitably, as has happened on a few occasions,
will come out with a comment or attempted advice which has already been
posted by a member in his killfile list,
making him out to be a bigger knobless fool that what he was five minutes
ago
