took a blunt brush and painted... Speeding, waaving close to other cars, weaving close to the kerb, driving on
hard shoulder, running red lights, failing to stop, failed a drugs test.

So what were the other 8 violations?

    Murdering police occifers?

Not that many, given that means of going properly postal are either kept
in a wardrobe at home or can easily be purchased over the counter in the
    right Kanton.

And yes, there are incidents but not as many as you'd expect in a
country that's stuffed to the rafters with military assault rifles.

  11. Washing his car on a Sunday, doing his laundry after 8 pm, standing
up to pee after 11 pm, painting his house an unapproved colour, putting glass
bottles in the rubbish, failing to do his fire-service duty, moving house
other than on March, June or September 1st...

That leaves just one to go.

  12. Most of the ones I heard about involved shotguns -- it's a serious
offence to open your package of ammunition if the country's not being
invaded and you don't have to fight your way to the Kaserne (arsenal) for
further supplies. I think I've heard that they don't get ammo to hold at
    home nowadays.

I've heard the same, although I've also contradictorily heard that
they just get ten rounds or so, so i'm not sure of the truth.

    <surfs>

Indeed, it seems that they changed the system only in 2007, and
started to withdraw 'personal' ammunition, kept at home, from Jan
2008, the process to be completed by the end of 2009.

I can't seem to help myself.
Not at all. Well, some of it, perhaps...

And anyway, those parts of what Ivan says that are actuially law,
rather than simply apartment-house rules, are quite common in other
    countries too.
