Soon I am going to buy a new lid, I do fancy a plain white
Arai Viper GT in Large, it's going to have the Autocom
stuff in it if this makes any difference, so does anybody
know where I can purchase such an item at a reasonable
cost, possibly online or close to Oxford.

    Thanks

Support your local retailer. You might pay an extra £20 but at least they
might still be there when you need a new visor, cheek pad etc.

    Weirdly, http://www.whyarai.co.uk/cgi-bin/arai_dealers.pl doesn't list a
dealer in Oxfordshire. However, it does not seem to be all inclusive as it
does not list my nearest supplier either.

I'm pretty sure that Abingdon Motorcycles (now Abingdon Honda) stock Arai
    helmets.

I used these guys for my stupidly large head dilema when I ended up with the
    Shoei XR1000 in XXXL.

    It arrived in 48hrs.

    Cost £199 via ebay.

And they chucked into the box - 1 x Caberg bum bag, 1 x Caberg neck tube, 1
x Caberg fleece lined zip up helmet bag, 1 x Shoei helmet bag and a Shoei
    Pinlock anti mist visor FOC.

    I was happy with that.

Well, I should hope the last two were in there... they're standard
    with all XR1000s.

Seen yesterday. HJC have launched another all carbon lid, like the HQ-1 but
with in integral retractable sun visor inside the helmet. The FS-10. Nice
    it looked.
