Aprilia pegaso 600 sprag clutch

On the Aprilia Pegaso 600 (air cooled) - 1993, where is the sprag clutch
located?
The reason I ask I was cranking it over on the electric start excessively,
forgetting I had taken the spark plug cap off, now when I crank it over it
makes a horrible noise and sounds like the starter is spinning, it starts
OK on the kick start and runs ok, I was told it could be the sprag clutch
worn.


Is there a engine diagram or adobe reader file of the 600 on the net?
Any idea of the cost to replace and availability of the parts?

No idea.

Well you deserve being called a fucking numpty twat then... Why take off
the plug cap then turn the engine over loads on the leccy start? Twattish
behaviour, imo...

It's /probably/ at the end of the starter motor, but I suggest you ask
