    What it is...those Japanese .. with the Buddhist outlook on
    life are calm in the head and hence very very smart as they
    crank out world class machinery without upsetting even a few
    brain cells. Over here we get all excited and worn out
    defending our errors...like General Motors.

    I still think there is some hidden magic in the 5, with
    the right crankshaft configuration.. that could be off of all
    heavy natural harmonic vibration potentials and rev like you
    can't believe. But maybe not.

    too wide, too high center of gravity... but it will sell
    well.

    Larry is right, the V-4 is the configuration of the future for
    the street, the big single will always dominate in the tight
    going and loose dirt...

    the V twin will always be for men who like a little rip and
    rumble in their life.

    The V-4 will dominate on the track... the V-5 will do well but
    not go into significant street production because of cost
    factors.
