One isn't thinking of buying new and I'd really like an opinion if anyone
has tried them on any bike.

Compared to the 996 and R1 the K2 brakes are shite and after a few laps on
the track Road Racers find the lever back at the bar.
Looking at the disks/callipers they look functional so it could be the
master cylinder design that's poor of course and the AP variable ratio job
    might help.

  5. It's the callipers. They flex under heavy load. The Later ones where
modified slightly, but still flex. IIRC You can fit the ones of a ZX7R.
These don't flex, but are a lot heavier...

Doesn't make any difference - you'd need different
fork bottoms anyway (or cheap'n'nasty adaptors) so
you might want to get some Ohlins R&T while you're there...

Well, there we go £500 for a pair of 6 pot AP callipers and TWO sets of AP
disks/carriers. I *think* I'm happy as the disks alone appear to be £198
    each.
Are there any trustworthy UKRM's in the Staines area?

    Roll up, roll up.
Set of Tokico 6 pots and a pair of GSXR 1000 disks for sale, perfect for
    GSXR600 owners? maybe, I don't know.
