    grind/saw off the chain

beat shit out of the soft link with the hammer when fitting the new one

use a pair of G clamps if you have to. One on the chain, the other on a

  9. I think Champ and I could help.

Are you sure it's the correct length?

It's advertised as the correct on for the R1 of 99 vintage.it's number
    is DID50VX.

Could be a good excuse for a ride once the fucking snow fucks off for good.

Was gonna go for a blast today, hhmmpphh

It'd be cheaper to buy the kit for riveting chains properly than it
    would be to drive down.

I need to decide whether to change the chain on my 10R or just fit a
new soft link after I had to cut it to fit the new swinging arm. The
original chain's done 12k miles so it's not far away from needing
replacing and the sensible thing would be to do it now but I'm such a
lazy bastard I'll probably not bother.
