Tuned in just as they arrived at the Guzzi Factory. The lucky bastards
got to sit on the V8 at the museum.

Then they got to tour the assembly line.

THEN, they got to ride the test track on a couple of brand-newies
(anyone see which models?) I've been to the Guzzi museum but I didn't
see the test track, only heard a bike from the other side of the fence.
    Imagine - it's only about 2 - 3 meters wide, 420m in length, overgrown
grass on both sides, and apparently testers/engineers would get up to
    130km/h on it.

    Lucky, lucky bastards.

It's a great track and factory.
In 1997 I toured the factory, checked out the assembly line, went over
the wind tunnel, saw in the motor test run rooms, watched Australian
delivery models being shipped and peeked into the development dept. The test
rider had a long scarf trailing behind and big Mo'. Very much fighter pilot
    stuff.
In May 2008 could only get into the museum, and have been told only
finally assembly takes place there. The pizza shop, were we ate with the
workers, across the road (towards the under rail tunnel) had shut. But still
my favourite factory, and Lake Como is always worth the visit.

And the staff at Albergo Grigna as frendly as ever. The guys at Agostinis
    helpfull as always.
