Take three of the spark plugs out and get it re-assessed

Paul Carmichael scribbled on the back of a napkin:
    Hmm?

You're complaining about paying 60 quid's worth of road tax for a bike?

Could be worse, it could be based on power to weight ratio.

I'll take a black bird. How much for a couple of filipinos, too?
Sisters preferably, with an oral fixation.

Oh, hang on,ISWYM. As you were.

  5. ¡Increible!

It seems they base the road tax level here in Spain on BHP. I got my
    road tax demands yesterday:

    Seat Ibiza 1.4 - 49 euros
    Bike - 89 euros!

I think I'm going to downsize...

You were so loaded you took early retirement and moved to El Cid.

In short, **** off with your moaning!

  7. Shit yes. 648 bhp/tonne. I don't know what the ratio is for the car, but
it makes about 74 bhp and is - well - a car, so it must weigh quite a lot.

It wouldn't be that bad I guess, but its suprising how there are hardly
any shit bikes there are round here anyway considering. Although the
scooter "boyz" community would probably suffer (hopefully...)

Unless they go the German TuV route, or the Japanese Shaken, there
shouldn't be much of a problem, pretty much every frog bike I've seen has
    been in shit hot order.

My point exactly, more hassle though.

There are rules round here where people with certain privileges can
drive cars without MOTs. Some of the fucking sheds you see being driven
are incredible. You never see the same with bikes though, for obvious
reasons. Apart from scooters, the cunts.

Obvious cos if they are wrecks, they crash. People maintain/fix them
continously without the artificial MOT deadline. I honestly can't
remember the last time I saw a dodgy bike round here (France, Swiss
border area). I can't speak for the whole of the country of course, just
    my observations in this region.

Spot on. Most, if not all, bikes that I see on the road are in very
    decent nick. Scooters OTOH...

Contrary to popular belief, there are two other posters (and at least
two lurkers that I know of), that live in France. Anyone one of those
    are "nicer than Des."

[1] Granted, one of those is a woman.
