Looking at getting one for my new job working in the city, stopping to
pay the toll is such a pain...

Have read the Express tag website, sounds simple enough.. has anyone
had any problems or have any helpful advice on using this system
    whilst on a bike (R6)?

    Thanks in advance

I heard second hand that they work fine in you top pocket but are not
    fully waterproof.

The tags on the RTA site seem to be more useable on different roads
    (including Melbourne and Queensland)
Not all etags are the same.

    Hi Greg,

I have an M2 tag. They are not waterproof, so I wrapped mine in some plastic
and insulation tape. Unlike the old tags, they operate on line of sight, so
you have to be careful how you wrap them and where you mount them. I wear a
backpack to work so I attached it to one of the shoulder straps. So far I
have had no problems with M2, Bridge, Tunnel or ED.

The M2 tags did not work in my top pocket of my Dainese goretex-type jacket at M2 Ryde gates.
