It seems many news servers are playing up.

news.individual.net: articles don't appear to be propagating to other
servers very well and vice versa.

news.forteinc.com: hasn't received many articles posted by individual.net
    users.

news.pacific.net.au: one of the best news servers, IMO. Unfortunately it's
constipated at the moment. It's taking almost a day for most articles to
    appear.

As you're in Perth, you could try bekkers.com.au. Works for me.

Just don't tell them I sent you, I still have some friends there.

Not so, sonny. You can be whoever you want to be.

If that's the case, it's worse than Google, at least currently.

It's back to normal now. No, Google's still painful.

    Rubbish.

You are required to provide your real email address to apply, yes.

You are *not* required to use it. You are only required to use a _valid_
    email address.

Try sending email tot he address in the "From:" header of this message and
    see what you get.

  11. Not necessary. Check out http://www.mailinator.com/ for an infinite
supply of valid email addresses you don't have to sign up for.

    Cheers, Robert.

How does one sign up for this newsgroup? Just log in from the reader and
see what happens, or does it require an email to them or something or a
    visit to a website?

    As always, I remain...
