It just so happens that Chateau Wavy will be open to visitors between these
dates whilst Mrs Wavy is back in the UK....

So anyone wanting to soak up some rays[0] and/or a few beers/botles of wine
and/or ride some cracking roads and/or help put up shelving/do a spot of
painting should reply here or mail me and, as long as you promise to not
make too much of a mess, there should be room for up to 12 or so people
    without too many problems.

Of course if no-one can make it then I'll just sulk a lot and call you all
    cunts[1]. Or something.

[0] Apparently the temperature over the past 7 days has been high 30s to mid
40s. No doubt it'l piss down constantly from next week onwards once we get
    there
[1] Quietly, under my breath, obviously, whilst smiling and pretending to
    not care at all...

I'll be 35 miles from Pau for the two weeks after your trip.

You're quite a way from Pau, aren't you? At least a couple of hours
    drive, IIRC?

At least. Its about an hour and a half to Toulouse. That said, it's a bit
    quicker on the bike. :)

Pah! A mere 600-odd kms across country[1] from us! You'd probably be able
to make it for at least an hour at the Chateau if you set aside 24 hours for
    travelling!

    Dave

[1] Quite literally by the look of it. Micheln.com seem to think it'd take
longer to get from there to St Gery than from Calais 'cos there's hardly any
    opportunity to take the autoroute.

Well I'll definitely be in France - maybe I'll persuade Jude to come over
    too...
Heh. You'll get used to it.
It's been much cooler and wetter throughout France this last few days. I'm
hoping for a dry spell for next week.

And we're a mere ~850km East of WD, so must be factored into the trip...
