....a spare pair of footpegs they don't want?

The SZR just passed it's MOT, but apparently "I didn't see the missing
footpegs.. put some on in the next few weeks eh? "

    I like local bike shops.

It's fun too, but whether it's the mile muncher I really need for 60
high speed miles each way on a regular basis is a different matter.

which gets me thinking... so, darsy, before I register it all on uk
papers with my details, would you be interested in a PX for it and some
    cash against your blade?

I know you're not much of a biker, Ginge, but where've you been
putting your feet when you ride it?

I suspect he's been paddling it along making brum, brum noises.

On the front ones, not the pillion ones.

apparently a 2 seat bike legally needs both pairs.

My MOT bod missed it on my CB250RS, he was too bothered with the leaking
fork seals and faulty headlight. Never mentioned em

So stick a single seat on it.

I'd heard that from the hitler that did my MOT the other week.

    Yes.

They're ex MZ and quite chunky, but would get you an MOT.
This is what they look like, but probably in better nick

TBH, I've never heard of twin seats must have pillion pegs. To the point
I'd ask the tester to show me the requirement in his manual.

there's a very small chance I might have them.

I definitely don't have the little ball bearings that go in the
joints, because they *pinged* off into the distance when I removed the
    pegs.

What about putting a seat cowl on it?

    Peter Jones says...
My MOT man laughed at the pathetic specimens that are fitted to my
CB250RS. They are from different bikes, neither being a CB250RS, and
hang at different heights, with one further forward than the other. But,
as they are fitted they passed the test.

    {snip}

I got some kind of footpeg off my old cb500r (one side only not sure which
cant be arsed to look). Yours or anyone elsesif you want it, sitting bottom
of my toolbox. Think they interchange front and back but maybe wrong

Least they worked, one of the bulbs on mine (streetfighter headlight thingy)
was faulty and he laughed at the light they gave out. I have seen fireflys
with a better chance of passing the MOT.

Refitting the original headlight was a cnut too, all that wiring in such a
    small space, damn honda.

Not a big worry one way or another really, I just thought I may bung
some on. It's already been passed.
    Can't be arsed.

I'll see what happens and mail you at some point, maybe.

well, I've a vague notion I bunged them in a "box of general biking
shit" at some point before I moved house, and I may well still have
    it.

    I'll look at the weekend.

BTW, I'll reply to your email tomorrow.

Do it, There's something immensely satisfying about out braking and out
cornering 10,000UKPs worth of superbike on something which really
    shouldn't. You'd love it.
