"Going up the Dick Turpin" being some obscure Essex sexual practice,
    presumably?

appointment with a cell bars and a sheet...

Yesterday's entertainment was discovering that there's a place in the
former Soviet Union called Miass. And it has a tourist industry. And
it was the site of a goldrush.

Your starter for ten is "The seam of my ass has been torn apart by
    burly miners with pickaxes"...

Snot obscure. We get police escorts and volvos and sick horseys and
    everything.

I would have gone but I don't have a bike at the moment only a pony and
they would have laughed at me.

Says the Ghost of Ginsters Yet To Be.

*And* I lost a whole pound this week. So there.

Oh ****, I'm going to become a weight bore. Pip! If Champ's really
changed his mind, point those barrels this way.

Nah, they're sooper-dooper electronic ones, wot are very accurate
    (allegedly).

Never underestimate the value of a strategically timed crap is all I'm
    saying.

Pls explain to me why anybody would attend a drinking venue (for such I
believe was referred to) and take their motor vehicular transport with them
    (without a designated driver)?

Strangeness... never did understand the "let's meet with the bikes down at
the Pied Bull" type meeting, makes not a jot of sense to me... this evening
I have been quaffing falling down water with a chum, both of us own
motorised transport yet funnily enough both of us chose not to take said
    chariots along.

    So there.

Same thought crossed my mind. I suppose they could do if you wanted to
blast an 18 inch hole in *exactly* the right place...

Only when you cut them, and if you cut enough you could lose another pound.
