As standard, it would be a tourer, yup.

If it had a noisy exhaust fitted, then a sports/tourer.

And, if it was souped up and lightened, then it would be a hooligan bike.

Knobby tyres would make it, at least a dual-sport or adventure tourer.

From Kevin's postings, you are right and I was wrong.

I doubt that there's much call for Netscrape T-Shirts these days :)
    I wasn't at all sure, it was 50/50 guess/estimation.
    I know that feeling...

I thought the Geordies got to be English (in the very loosest sense,
they don't seem to speak English) because they supported King George
    against the Jacobites.

Oh, the Netscrape T-shirt has the date printed on it, 4th October 1996,
I just thought, wrongly, that the aus.moto T-shirts were before that.

Don't think that would start much of a fight.

I dunno if you have noticed but there are quite a lot of "secret"
    Ulysses Club members.

A few of my mates have joined, but made me promise not to tell anyone.

I remember the creation discussion in rec.moto and in aus.news, but
the aus.news stuff isn't in google's archive. Some of the rec.moto
    discussion is, dated july 1992.

Brilliant timing. I've been reading Karl Marx all day. Funny how
his stuff looks so good on paper, but the Eastern bloc never managed
to come up with an R1 in practice. :-|

GB, I mean, socialism/communism would be fine if one of the products
of their manufacturing industry was an YZF-R1 :)

LOL! That looks like a VB in your hand Clem. Had you done something
    to upset Johno?

(On a more serious note, and noting the URL, has anyone managed to
assemble an archive of boky's work. I know there was talk of it,
will the oc-au folks leave his page up forever?)
