Yes. It's not looking too good from where I'm sitting. I'm in work
early and listening to the bbcnews website. :-/

I do fervently wish for the US political system to implode upon on
itself; unfortunately having Chimp Boy gloating and lording it in the pay
of capital and in the name of the Sweet Lord Baby Jesus does not fill me
    with glee.

    [1] or is that "prey"

Nope , but when I woke up I really didn't want to turn the PC on and find
    out how things were going

I'm looking at the Beeb site still. 242 for Kerry, 254 for Bush. Ohio
still not decided. If Kerry wins this.

I'm watching this with baited breath. I thought "God knows why", but I
    do too.

Thing is - it'll be contested no matter what the Ohio decision.

So at a guess, and once again, we won't know for awhile.

I stayed up until 2:30am, then gave up.

    And it's still not decided.

And you don't think such a state of affairs would have a rather negative
effect on France and your way of life (indirectly or other) ?

There will _always_ be a super power.

_Personally_, I'd rather it be the Yanks than the Chinese - but maybe I'm
    just stupid.

  16. Is there anything on the beeb website to watch current telly like news
    24?

There only appears to be old news like 10pm last night and the live
world service audio isn't doing much as they just sound floundering and
they're filling time 'till something important happens.

is fairly decent. There are video links off of this, but TBH, I think
    Ohio is the new Florida.
