    Direct West from Oslo would hot the see as it is down in the south , but
    it would have to be *direct* :)

    You can see Northern lights even from the UK, but not as frequently. No
    physical limit as for the midnight sun.

    For a brief trip I would say you need to be lucky to see NL from Oslo,
    but thay may even apply to northern Norway, as the weather might be a
    limiting factor as well.

    Yes, 'twas great but bloody expensive. Good skiing in parts.

    Bloody cold when I did my Arctic warfare training though. Tip: Don't
    piss or shit in the snow, as the Norwegians get upset.

    Look out for the fjords. And snow. And reindeer. And lap people. And
    Santa.
