Anyone at the IOMTT? Looking for an Antonio Miranda.

Hello,

a friend from Barcelona is trying to qualify for the Junior TT on an R6,
Antonio Miranda, #78, yesterday he did a 25' according to iomtt.com.

We haven't had personal news from him which could mean (low possibility)
that he is angry and depressed for not qualifying (22') or (higher
possibility) he is having a great time and has forgotten us, we poor
bastards working for a sad salary.

Any news will be appreciated. Details about attempts to burn the bike whilst
drunk (there are precedents) won't amaze (much).

As a curiosity, the Spanish federation does not give licenses for that race
after an Spaniard's death in the late '70s, so Toni runs with a French
license.

At the end he did a 22'58", practices suspended due to rain, and he'll race
on june 8th and 9th. Look out for the yellow and green (banana replica?) R6
#78!

Worst of all: For the next 40 years we'll be hearing stories starting like
"I rushed through Bray Hill when suddenly [XXX]"

[XXX] add here whatever ranging from general mechanic failure to UFO's on
the sky.

I'm sure he's enjoying the race, I only wish he don't eat a tree, street
light, public telephone, cow, marshall, etc etc :-D

He will pay a beer to all who wears a T-shirt with his favorite slogan

same slogan :-DDDDDD
