That Robert Powel on the TV right now is more in tune than Florence was. I
suspect that there's something wrong with your "perfect pitch" machine.

That's her whole problem. Trying too hard to be funky and trying to hard to
have a "sound" (pronunciation) of her own).
And she's a fucking clog off key too. It was like listening to a pissed up
karoake singer on a bad night.

Well it wouldn't do for us all to get the3 horn about the same person, so
I'm sticking with my original thought.

I'll give her one for you too seeing as you don't fancy it.

well, each to their own. Bet you don't like Aphex Twin[1], then...
coincidentally enough, I also played trombone at school, though most
of my classical music training is on the piano.
    come on:

#as we kiss and I'm sick in your mouth...
#lick my open wounds and add some ice
#and choke on my sick vice

    what's not to like?

[1] Aphex's pseudo-cover of David Bowie's "Heros" done in the style of
Philip Glass one of the finest out-of-tune tracks you could find.
Except, ****, now I'm going to have to trawl through my music...

Used to love the old slush-pump. Can't remember a bloody thing now,
    though.
Actually reminiscent of some Rammstein (translations) and other
Euro-industrial stuff. I like Rammstein, despite being less than
    fluent in German.

It's ironic from an English-speaking point of view, as so many metal
songs have quite inane lyrics [1] yet Rammstein's can be [2] quite
thoughtful and intelligent, from the translations I've seen.

[1] and I consider myself a devoted fan of the genre.
    [2] not always. see also

which is probably NSFW, unless you work in a sex shop.

    nah.

for Italian metal, it has to be Lacuna Coil.

    Great, isn't he?
There's a great one over on uk.rec.cycling.moderated at the moment.
Goes by the name of thirty-six and claims to have regularly cycled, as
could any fit cyclist with normal road gearing, at well over 60mph.
He's wasted on there though, as the regulars keep trying to engage him
in debate, rather than just laughing at him.

Try singing the bass line of a well known piece, changing any note that
does not sit on the pentatonic to a suitable harmony that does.
This *really* disturbs the concentration of the tenors and altos who
are used to the choral music convention that everything is built on
foundations laid by the bass line.
Nothing stands out to a listener as being dissonant until the tenors
    loose the plot .......

    Evil ?
    Moi ?

"Evil" definitely isn't the word that springs to mind.
