You should have been in it, I mean, racing on the Isle of Man, that makes
you a natural born racer, doesn't it :)

The prize for the winner was the 2004 season on a Virgin superbike.
Tommy Hill got the prize, and had a target of a few top tens by the
end of the year - in fact he's done much, much better than that.

Cal Crutchlow got a Supersport ride but Benji didn't get anything.
Although he did get a run out in one of the European Superstock rounds
towards the end of this year. He placed an ad in Bike Sport News at
the beginning of the season begging for a ride but nothing came of it.
Nice lad but doesn't come across as the sharpest tool in the box so
the money men tend to be put off.
Some real talent in there. I've spoken to Jon Boy Lee a few times at
Mallory, fast as **** but not consistent enough. Blitzed them at
Mallory but then it is his local track. Quite funny seeing this pint
size kid surrounded in the paddock by about ten blokes in suits
(sponsors). I followed him around in a few sessions [1], most amusing
watching him pissing about getting it totally sideways into Edwina's.

Watch out for a kid called Daniel Hegarty next year. Started racing
with DP end of last year on a KR1S then got an R6 midway through this
season. Won every 600 race after that by a country mile and regularly
got top 3 in the open. Seriously talented but I bet he'll still
    struggle to make top 5.

[1] Not too difficult given I had about 60bhp extra.

Apparently that's not the case. Straight talking northerner but quite
    a smart cookie.
