Treated the ol' Trumpet to a new tax disk today, as the the old one was a
year old and getting rather tatty and hard to read.
Comes out the PO and thinks I'll fit that right now, albeit about 12 days
    early but who cares.
On bended knee, unscrews the chrome ring thingy, puts in new disk, right way
up as well. Screws on chrome ring thingy.
Gets home, admires the space where the tax disk was supposed to be.!!
Not only have I lost the new one, but I left the old one in the holder
behind the new one, that is no longer!

Short lived 60 quid that then! ;o(

Greybeard emerged from their own little world to say
you can get a replacement for 7 quid IIRC - form V20 from here

    Taa,

Went back the PO and got one this afternoon! Makes it a damned expensive bit
of paper though. Might just not bother, it's on their fancy 'pooter now.

If you find it, can you ask it if it's seen the V5 that I had on Tuesday but
    now think I've recycled?

  7. There's your mistake, place in wallet and take home. Once there scan
and copy before placing the original for safe keeping. Fit copy to
    bike, repeat as necessary.
