Any Londoners about

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by ‹(•¿•)› BORG, Jun 1, 2005.

  1. Anyone near this place ?

    12 Tidlock House
    Erebus Drive
    London,
    SE28 0GD

Just bought a phone on Ebay and would like to make sure it's a real
address or even have someone from here collect it for me and check it
out. I'll bank transfer the cash to them and the P&P to me.

Then I know it's not a rip off

    Thanks

www.streetmap.co.uk would suggest it isn't a real address.

If only there were some sort of national organisation that dealt with postal
addresses. Then you could go to their website and and look up addresses and
    postcodes.

We could even call it something posh like "Royal Mail". That would be
    nice...

  13. I don't but it didn't show on any maps and it's always good to get
    things checked out right.

It means that the sellers are (supposedly) not waiting on buying another
house before they sell. Chains happen when vendor A won't complete the
sale because he's buying from vendor B who won't complete because he's
buying from vendor C who won't complete because...

This is why first time buyers are in a good negotiating position if
they've got their finance sorted. No chain, see?
I've heard of people taking their *lightbulbs* with them.

When I moved in, all they left was the bathroom cabinet "because we
can't get it off the wall"

Not a lightbulb left in the place, despite the fact that it's illegal
(unless you switch the electricity off) as they're leaving the property
    in a potentially dangerous condition

Oh and they left the unpainted bits behind the furniture

Why would anyone even *want* to counter-steer a house?
