Any good wet suits?

I have a Spada which I think is really good.

However a friend is looking for a new one and has come up with a "Akito
Hurricane 1 Piece Suit" as a alternative for 20 quid but I have never heard
of it so I thought I'd ask ...

    TIA,
    Pep.

20 quid doesn't get you a good wetsuit, you get a bunch of neoprene single
stitched by a blind bint with a 2ft knitting needle. There are shed loads
of places that sell the cheap stuff at roadside cafés on the A30 through
Cornwall, but they don't last that long.

It depends on what you're using it for and when also. For winter surfing
you want a nice 4/3 at least with double stitched taped seams. Looking at
more like £120 for a good one.

I *think* we both knew that Rob - ie both posts were attempts at winding the
    OP up.

I do admit though that Switters appears to have taken the whole thing that
    little bit further.

It's been a long few days (working til midnight the last couple of
evenings) so I took it at face value... I'll try to regain values of
comedy and alertness over the weekend.

"just that one step too far" - sounds familiar.

I was still at home. Location makes no difference to the work getting
    done.

  17. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Pep amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom:
    They'll be wet trunks.

What you need is a poncy Gucci suit to ride in the rain with.

  18. Check ebay for Procella or google for Jag wetsuits but I don't recall
    they're as cheap as £20.
