I'm helping to form a riding club at my chruch. The response has been
significant and endearing. I'm preparing to have between 20 to 5 on a
    normal ride.

I've been riding for a couple of years with a couple of friend. They
are helping to form the backbone of the Group Riding unit. We'd like
to have Bike-to-bike communications. We've done some research and
    concluded:

    1. Most systems don't work for a motorcycle application due to poor
sound quality, low volume, and high wind noise.
    2. Autocom's products are too expensive.

I'm considering buying a Motocomm AudioBoss AB-1m. Does anyone have
experience with one of these units? Also, if you used it for
bike-to-bike, what 2-way radio did you use?

    Thanks in advance.

Let me tell you from the start that I've never used any bike-to-bike
system. I am looking at this now, however, since my wife has taken up
    riding.

If your dollars are at a premium you might want to take a look at the
current (March 2004) issue of Motorcycle Consumer News. They have an
    article on "Budget Bike-To-Bike Communicators".

Excellent, I'll look for that issue.
