Not unless Kawasaki have started putting the clutch cover on the left.

Is there a scrape on the engine casing (clutch cover?) in
    Crash_005.jpg?

you started when you slagged me off behind my back. it was only this
weekend that someone had the guts to tell me (and it wasn't the person
    who heard you say it).

while I'm here can I have the strap back from the baglux cover that
    still needs repairing.

you'll be pleased to know that Lozzo has kindly fixed the seat cover
that fell off when you were careless enough not to put the seat on
    properly.

oh and the "its got plenty of petrol" when I wanted to fill it with
mine on the way home...went onto reserve 20 miles later.

Humour me... What's on the left? Generator cover?

Depends. Everything else cover probably covers it. Generator might be
on the end of the crank, or on top of the gearbox.

The clutch cover is the big *round* one on the right. Okay, it's not
completely round, but you get the picture.

Those get bloody irritatingly sore as they heal.

I presume it is erosion rather than a bit hacked out?
Ask Christofire about the effect it had on him, when we had beers at "Le
    Trappiste".

He seemed to sort of "implode" for a few seconds, as it kicked in.

It's the generator cover and it has been ground through.

A few scuffs and scrapes, some broken lugs, but all in all they aren't
too bad. The upper fairing and headlight look a bit worse for the
    experience though.

Yes, the glove wore through and the next port of call was the thumb.
I'm pleasantly surprised that it's not painful.
    Sounds like fun.

the main reason I am very pissed off with you is that when asked when
you were thinking of bringing the bike back you answered "a weekend in
the future but not this one".

not "when would you like it back?"

this was my main bike. I had kindly let you borrow for it three weeks.

you had the bike for eleven days prior to the IOM ensuring that I had
to go to France on the bandit so you could get used to riding it.

putting it in your sig was also taking the piss.

Yes you offered to use the bandit but knowing it was an old bike that
hadn't been ridden for a year it wasn't worth the hassle when
    something went wrong with it.
it would have been nice to actually be told you had damaged it rather
than the "and the good news is Lozzo has agreed to fix the seat".

don't assume that someone else had done your dirty work.
which isn't the point. accidents happen. it would be good to hear it
    first hand.
even if it had a 50 miles left. I have a 70 mile commute which is why
I wanted it filling. by that point I had far given up trying to
    communicate with you.
