Someone on here mentioned some cream they used on their visor to stop
    fogging. It was American.

I can't find the thread does anyone know the name of it please.

    Thanks

BORG emerged from their own little world to say
Gloop - I used it when I had a Nolan helmet. Works but takes ages to get it
    spread correctly.

My last 2 helmets have been Arai and I have not needed anything as the seem
to be better ventilated. Also, unlike the Nolan you can ride with the visor
ajar without it flipping up or closing.

And this apparently is it's problem. I seem to recall reading it here
and in other places that the little rocks of salt in it can, over time,
cause quite considerable scratching to the visor surface. It doesn't
    stop me using it though.

    Really?

I've not noticed over the last 10 years.

Nor have I. Usually keep my lids about 2 years, but never for the visor
    condition.
