Another vague query - album from bad description of the cover

    A friend asked the following...

I keep getting an image in my mind of the cover of a music album that
I saw a long time ago (upwards of 6 years now) and for the life of me
I cannot remember the name of the album or the name of the artist. I
know that the version I saw had a blue and black cover, possibly with
bits of white, and that the artist was male and possibly
    Afro-Caribbean, but I couldn't swear to that. I think the version I
saw might even have been an LP. I'm sure that the artist had one of
those short, punchy, one-word names, but I just can't make it come to
mind (something like "Beck", but it wasn't that). It's infuriating
because I know I liked the music but don't know where to look to find
    it!

Does any of this bring anything to mind for anyone?

    Further questioning led to...

I have a feeling that the front cover of the album was what I would
call a stylised photograph (if you know what I mean) of the artist.

And it wasn't Moby or Seal but thanks for the suggestion.

    So any ideas FOAK?

If it's any help I ws addicted to a track when I worked in Our Price in
1987. I lost touch with it and through all manner of twists and turns I
eventually found the name and artist a couple of years ago: Hey Love by King
Sun De Moet (or something) I actually tracked it down via P2P, it took ages.
And then I realised it was shit.

    My advice: Don't bother.

Heh. Perhaps forgetting the name of an artist, album or song is nature's way
of telling us it wasn't worth remembering in the first place.

    Sons of *who*?
