I know there was a thread somewhere on here about the movie, but I'm too lazy to back-track and find it. This is mainly directed at Bill, but feel free to read: Bill - I got a chance to see the film last night. I must admit it was quite interesting, but I figured it would be in a typical Moore type of way. What disturbed me about it is some of the outright lies portrayed by Moore in the film, not to mention the over all leftist agenda that is portrayed by the movie. I had to keep telling myself it's planned that way. ;-) It's my opinion that the film portray's itself as being a burning flag for the soldiers and the war cause, but it's really a political manifesto against the Bush administration. Nothing wrong with that, I guess, but I literally had people sitting around me talking to the screen and agreeing with everything like lambs being led to the slaughter. Are people really that gullible? I suppose so, and that works both ways. It's not a bad thing for people to get riled up and question what is going on with their own govt. It's not a bad thing to get them riled up enough to vote. I'd just like to see people take a more proactive stance and do a little bit of investigative work on their own, too. BTW - I gotta head back to Cali, and I think you are on your way to Arizona, but we need to put together a day ride soon. I think I can even get 'ol Bling to go. --Fullstate Me and Mah 'Priller!
Hey Bud... Got back to God's Country yesterday (Sunday)... Get your butt back here and let's do the "day ride" thing.. If you'd get all your work "done".. we'd even make that run down into Mexico.. Got a very special event to attend in Guadalajara, that you'd sure enjoy.. See ya'.. Your friend in Irving Bill Walker
