From the NSW police media page. Take not of the first line of the second paragraph. A man has been killed after losing control of his motorcycle and slamming into a wall at Doonside in Sydney's west. The rider was travelling along De Castella Drive on one-wheel about 6pm today (1 February 2006), when he lost control of his bike, mounted the kerb and ploughed into a knee-high perimeter fence outside a house near the Douglas Road intersection. The 34-year-old Queensland man suffered multiple injuries and died at the scene. Police from Blacktown Local Area Command and the Forensic Services Group are continuing their inquiries into the crash. Traffic diversions remain in place around the crash scene. Doonside Road is closed both east and westbound. De Castella Drive is also blocked in both directions. It's expected the roads will reopen to traffic mid-evening. Police will prepare a report into the crash for the information of the New South Wales Coroner.
