Thus spake The Older Gentleman () unto the assembled multitudes:
I notice it has MPH/miles clocks though...wouldn't it be Kph/Km if
registered and used in mainland Yurrup (unless it's had 'em changed, though
    owner doesn't mention it)?

  6. Could be. If it was a US model (like mine is) then it ought to have side
panel badges reading KZ650, unless they've been change to Euro Z650 spec
    (like mine have).

Generally, the really nice (cosmetically speaking) SOB imports I've seen
have been from Italy. But yes, this could have been a US model.

The chrome clock covers are odd. They weren't standard on that year, and
the clocks should be plain black, but they sell these chrome covers
separately and people buy them as cosmetic add-ons.

Only naff thing about this one is the dreadful green-painted (homemade)
grab rail, which has replaced the nice chrome OE one.

I dunno, but certain bikes look 'right' in certain colours.
That deep turquiose-green does it for me in this case.

31k miles? That's not 'summer use only', it's practically one
    week-per-year!

  8. Agree utterly. It was, and remains, the best-looking Z650. The
second-best, by a short head, is the same model in the deep red - which
    is what I've got.

Yep. My GT250 is in that Suzuki metallic blue, like this one (but I wish
    it was in similar nick!):

Mine doesn't have the detailing stripes on the tank, so I suspect a
respray at some point. I still really like the colour though.
