Did anyone happen to catch American Idol last night? Amazing nite at
the Kodak. Just got back to the hotel and it'll be a quick shower,
change of clothes and back going again....probably be going until
sometime this afternoon when I wrap it up and get ready to leave out
    here.

For anyone who caught the entire season, it was almost predictable
Jordin would take the top honors. Congrats to the little girl from
    Glendale Arizona. She's simply amazing!

    See y'all!

Brian, yes we did. we have not missed an episode. I think most
everyone knew it would be Jordin, becasue like Simon said; ''it's a
    singing competion''.
Actually, we've not miised any of the seasons of the Idol. I'm
surprised you've watched some of it?? However, Blake was good, he was
very unique. I believe he'll do good. To me, he would be best with a
group, like inSync, or Rascal Flats type of groups. I cannot see him
    as a ''solo'' singer. -bjay-

Never watch it. Watched half of one show and changed the channel before I threw
up my guts. Couldn't tell who was more lacking in talent, the judges or the
contestants...though I am lenient to the contestants as they've yet to be
trained properly. Sorry but that's how I see it, then again I almost NEVER watch
the usual so called "Big 3" vacus, vapid and uninspiring come to mind. I HATED
Seinfeld...nothing funny EVER. Friends? Puhlese it's more fun baiting WTC
conspiracy theorists or reading TM's and FM's about all sorts of things like
land navigation, Hospital Operations in theater.

Screw them, I'll listen to the radio, go for a ride do yard work. Oh AND work on
the lawn mower, weed eater, hedge trimmer. Watch a movie...the restored
Lawrence of Arabia (4hrs) is a bladder buster. So to make it simple screw ABC,
NBC, CBS...they have no talent no skill and no imagination.

  7. If you say so, I'll take your word for it.
O'Reilly, smart, intelligent possible shill for liberals. Larry King...he's good
but I just never liked that kind of radio. (he's radio with a camera in the
studio) NPR is often slightly better...just. 8^) For that matter I prefer local
radio to the syndicated stuff like Clear Channel and their ilk. Damn bean
counters have destroyed radio imho. I can speak with a little authority as I was
at KFDI from the late 60's through to the mid 70's. Mike Oatman and Mike Lynch
were a class act and never forgot what radio is about. Sorry for drifting but
this brought back some good memories.

So, I bet you really miss Imus.
He was one of the original ''ShockJocks''

I do, he was the man.

He was on MSNBC's ''Imus In The mornng'', for 10 years, making 6 million
    a year.

There were times, he got on my nerves, for the most part, I was a big
    Fan, though.

  11. Nope, from the only time I heard him I knew what he was and that is/was a
    unmitigated bigot.
no he was a sick joke. Just like what's his name...on Sirus or what ever.
So? He's still bigot and pig and a self agrandizing fool.
For the most part I stuck to the theory. "smell a turd, step over it and let
    someone else step in it"

We're leaving here in a few(815am) to ride north up around Albert Pike.
We're taking the Rain gear, hope dont need it. It's only a 30% chance,
so that means there's a 70% it wont rain. right. takeItEz.

    "salesman"? Not even close there....

Try to ride between the drops. I would've went with Redshad on his
ride to Mena, but I am having too much trouble riding this Blackbird
between those big old drops of rain.

You can always borrow that Hurricane of mine....I'd almost pay real
    money to watch too! :)

Wait a sec, you have the springer still....stop carving the wheels and
put them on, and go ride!

We still need to do that lunch-in ride when it gets nice again and we
    both have our rides going....

  18. : At least you have a bike. I got mine out of the shop after a cam bearing
: failure repair and within 10 miles I had it back in the shop again. Another
: wasted weekend, even if it was rainy.

FAWK! Gonna be fixed by next weekend?

: BTW, Mouse was pissed having to push the bike across a parking lot while I
    : rode. I wish I had pictures.

Well, you could have released the brake.
