Just got hold of a copy of Parental Advisory from Dave. Absolutely superb,
and I haven't even got round to watching all of the extras yet.

Can't really pick a favourite moment, with so many ludicrous stunts on
there, but for some reason the bits that stuck in my head were the burnouts
on a Volvo's roof, and in a portaloo. Mind in the gutter, or something like
that. Oh, and one very mangled leg. Eugh.

The only negative things I can think of are i) there's no scene selection on
the DVD, which is a bit of a pain, and ii) where's all the 'looning around
London with a helmetcam' footage, as featured on the Mental Militia trailer
    from a few months back?

Also, out of interest, what's the deal with using various bands' music on
the vid? Do you have to pay royalties to all of them individually, or is
there a central 'pot' that you pay into, or what? Just curious like.

  2. The very first version did have a Scene Selection, but I was never happy
with how it worked. Eventually we simply ran out of time before we were
happy with it so we just deleted it. You can still jump through the
chapters when the DVD's playing, though
That wmv file must be almost two years old - the London Raid itself was
on the 'Streetfighters - Hand Job II' vid
    We have a deal arranged...

It is absolutely top-notch, isn't it. When I get a minute to go round
to Dave's place, I'll be buying a few copies to give as presents.

I noticed that after I posted, actually - nice n' easy to switch between
    segments.
Fair enough - when I first looked at the IQ18 site, it was already pretty
'mature', so I guess that clip had been on there a while already. I'll add
HJII to my birthday present list then.
    Hmm... shady.....

  7. Not really, we just don't want 'other people' stealing our contacts so
I'm never gonna explain who, what, why, where and when on a public forum

Y'see, finding remotely decent music is probably the hardest bit of
    all...

Although as a journey of discovery it is not without it's highlights.

Today for example, whilst having a browse around I found out that Nat
King Cole was the geezer who first did Route 66. And there was me
always thinking that he was little more than a crooner. Amazing innit?

My mate at work who is a good pal of Eminem's agent has promised to ask
the question. I just need to keep reminding him. Will keep you posted.

Well you did a fine job - some big names on the soundtrack. Well, Sally
seemed to recognise most of them anyway, she being a bit of a rock chick.

This feller looks after loads of other people, and has loads of unsigned
    bands crossing his path.

I'm taking my playstation back to Jockland tonight, and I'll take "The
Blaney Special" and show my mate the kind of quality we're talking
about. Then I'll demand that he makes some phone calls.
