On the Sunday before last I went to fit new chain and sprockets on the ST3
only to find that I had been sent the wrong rear sprocket. Today I
successfully fitted the correct-sized replacement rear sprocket only to find
that I had also been sent the wrong length chain (1 link too short). So I
wheeled the ST3 back into its Bike Barn and set about fiddling with the VSO
LS650, which has some obscure ignition timing problem (probably due to being
assembled from spare parts resulting in a mismatched pulse generator in the
stator/outer case ). Then its started raining despite the forecast
repeatedly promising a sunny afternoon so that had to go back under its
    cover too,

    Arse!
