Another day, another scam

On Mon, 30 Aug 2004 22:10:54 +0100,

My Swiss bank account adopted a new security system for online stuff a
year or so back, requiring not just your account name and password,
nor the previous 'next number off a bit of paper', but gives a code
which you then have to type into a card-activated, password proteced,
little calculator thingy that gives back another code to verify
access.

Hard to see how _that_ access could be hacked.

 

At this point, as ukrm's VoR in-waiting, I would like to remind people
that you, TOG, don't use cashpoints and don't like being paid by
direct deposit. *No-one* is going to take banking advice from you!
