Bugger it! I didn't know one was on! I'll keep an eye out for the
next one and see if I can come along.

How long do these TOG Tours last for, a weekend?

  3. I think it was organised before you popped up on the group.
There are typically two a year. One about April / May and the other
    about September time.

The usual departure from the UK is a Friday with Friday and Sat nights
in France. Sunday is return day when people with horrendous hangovers
    try to ride motorcycles safely.

TOG usually organises the trisp a number of months in advance so watch
out for the post and reply quickly as spaces go fast.

  16. There's space on this one - Gasman can't make it so his place is vacant.
If you want to page him, then you've got your half-board accommodation
sorted. You'll have to arrange your own ferries, though.

I think I've decided that I can't stand him. Perhaps it's time to
trade him in for a younger model. He's become a bit of a habit
really. I've got used to him... Which isn't a bad thing, I suppose.
    Hmm.

    On Tue, 12 Apr 2005 07:33:36 +0100,
I'll check to see if I can get the time off of work as I'm supposed to
be on that weekend (Bank Hol weekend too)

Do we all stay at the same place overnight or are we at different
    hotels?

Oh, and where is everyone going?

    Must dash, off to work.

www.speedferries.com, about 19 quid each way if you're quick..
They land about 40 miles south of Calais I think....

  20. Fortunately, I left myself a 5% get-out clause to cover exactly this
sort of eventuality. Coupled with my well-practiced ability to run away
very quickly from potential beatings, I feel I'm well covered...
