Wandered into HG with Horse this lunchtime and came out with a Takai
FT65 in matt black. Then up to Little and Large M/C for some gloves.

Back home, tog up and out with the Zed.

"I really really really like this Dad". That's another satisfied
customer then. Anyone know a good source of pre-loved kids protective
    clothing?

I sold all mine on ebay. I was asked for all the measurements before I sold
    them.

I'll ask Laura if she still fits her (HG)leather jeans. She had a leather
jacket but that was passed on to one of WIP's offspring.

We were out again this afternoon and it struck me that if I thought I
was riding gently before, it was full-on brain-out thrashing compared
with riding with Horse on the back.

I suppose it's worth mentioning that after yesterday's ride he said it
was "great, but next time can we go a bit faster?"

You don't want to crash with your children on a bike. Trust me on this.
    If you do, you'll be grateful if you actually break something yourself;
well at least I was grateful it was me who broke my leg rather than
either of my children. And, the break gave me something to focus on
    rather than my stupidity.

I still give them lifts on my bike but not often at this time of year.

  17. It's now short in the sleeves for offspring. Are you BOSMing? I shall
arrange to have it brought across.

We did go a tad faster today. It's interesting how an 8 year old
interprets the experience; I was driving like an absolute saint; very
gentle acceleration and braking and hit a high of about 55mph.

When his mum asked if he's enjoyed it, there was talk of "zooming away
from the lights", "70 down the dual carriageway" and "pulling wheelies".

SWMBO managed an impressive Paddington stare.
