Another beer I'd not tried 'till now

  1. Fuller's Golden Pride.

8.5%, very malty and rich with a hint of hop.

The flavour stays on yer palette for ages and it is indeed a very heady
    beer.

This is the first drink I've had since the BOSM and I concur that it is
    most excellent.

    That is all.

I have to say I have tried the ways of the banana[1].

Just to be boring, I bought a load on the last UKRMCIUIC[2] 2005 but it
wasn't to my taste. I wanted to like it but I just couldn't bring myself
to do it. It was bitter with a chemically aftertaste. It did taste of
banana but it tasted artificial, like not the right thing. Words fail
me, but I know I didn't like it.

    [1] Yeah, yeah... "What-ever!"

<waves from the good side of a bottle of kriek and another of leffe>

And they're both on offer in Asda, as I happily found out earlier
    tonight.

That's one I've never heard of and will be on the list to try next time
    I go down there[1]
That'll be good for me but it's a shame I won't be able to share the
    aroma.

[1] Which will probably be later today.

Not in terms of taste ...

    8.5 ? - a bit middling when compared with Rochefort #10

Get your arse to a Bierodrome or equivalent pseudo-Belgian beer-a-rama
and try it in the proper test-tube-in-a-wooden-stand style poseur glass.

The beer's not phenomenal, but for kitsch value it's hard to beat.

  13. Should be a boot-shaped glass (if I remember correctly)
It has a decent kick to it..
