That looks damn near identical (different sticker, clear instead of amber
lenses on the upper lights, no white lights/reflectors in the body) to
the one I bought ages back at an Ally Pally classic car show for £20.

It lasted for probably 5-6yrs, jump-starting and inflating fairly
regularly, being lobbed into the boot of the car and bounced about, only
ever being recharged when it was too flat to do what was required, and
    generally being abused.

Then I left it kicking around in the boot for too long, the switches got
knocked and it went TOTALLY flat. The battery wouldn't take a charge
after that, so it got lobbed.

By contrast, a mate bought a different one for a similar price at the
following year's Ally Pally, and it died on about the second charge.

Seeing that makes me tempted to try and find my nearest Aldi, because
I've not yet found anything at a similar price. Buy it.

If it is as similar to my old one as it looks, the hose is permanently
attached and clipped round the back.

What used to be Waitrose just up the road from me and that closed last
year is going to be in Aldi.

    The pikification of Bracknell. [1]

[1] Yes, I know. But even more so.

No, that's the Waitrose HQ & distribution centre!

I'm talking about a normal supermarket in the parade of shops 10
minutes walk up the road from me.

  11. That's identical to mine. Definitely a good one - cost me 45euros or so,
    on offer at the time.
