Spete expressed the following: IIRC the dye inside is trapped inside during the sealing process and you'll need to strip the anodising and start again. I could be wrong of course as in my line of business anodising is used for corrosion protection, not cosmetic finish.
Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Spete It's very, very cheap. Just leave it outside Pixie Central and it'll end up black.
