I read in an American kid's history book that Henry Ford invented the
motor car, seriously. It would appear that nothing outside of good old
    USA exists.

    a) I don't see why that's required to fit the term "terrorist"
    b) They certainly weren't shy of causing bodily harm to collaborators,
    civilian or not.

Have you ever been to Britain? I suggest you try going into a shop or
anywhere else bar a bank or money changer and offering to pay in US
    dollars.

Are you working to the "those who cause terror" definition. If so you
are correct and, I suspect it is terrifying being fire bombed by even
    the RAF.
Granted, and the term 'collaborator' can be stretched very far in some
ideologies. Did they, however, knowingly, act in such a way that people
other than the occupying force or their *willing* collaborators were
harmed (directly not in reprisal as in the case possibly of Oradour sur
    Glane)?

Size, whether it be height or width, is not related to an individual's
likelihood of being a victim. I too was bullied for years, and was
always tall and not overly weedy.

Silly Brit. We exported Model T's to Britain. Sheesh. There've been
lots of good American cars outside of the good ol' USA. In fact, there
were even lots of British Fords. Ah, what I wouldn't do for a nice
    little Cortina......

And on the other end of the scale, I was short and skinny, and got
bullied through school and college, right up to the one day where I had
a "ginger moment" and knocked somebody out.

Height was one of the reasons why I was bullied. Along with glasses,
spots, being intelligent. All the usual school stuff.

  20. Ah being different then [1]. I doubt anyone would try it these days
    though.

[1] I was bullied on that basis but I too had a "ginge" day or in my
case an "incredible hulk go green like my eyes" day. I nearly knocked
someone's kidneys into the middle of next week (their body duly
followed). I was never bullied again and the word got round at the High
    School too.
