Both of his "negatives" both said that basically the guy was a dick and
    they didn't like him. LOL!

  6. The whole problem is those who "might be" terrorists, as
in the case of the unfortunate bastards at Guantanamo
and the London tube and Manzanar in WWII.

I'm not OK with "might be".

Also, I figure I've been put at risk more often in the past by
law enforcement dudes than by terrorists and way way more
often by clueles drivers than anybody on either side of the war
    on terror.

I think there are other options, but yeah, if we can't catch
them without tearing up the bill of rights, then I'll take my
    chances on being a target.

More like some guys(on here) after I complain about them, they just
can't take it like a man(especially that Pratt who nearly lost his
    account).

I find it somewhat incredulous that someone in the UK is happy to
criticise ALL USA residents who failed to stop shrubs re-election,
although they appear to be ok with all of the folks in the UK who
clearly re-elected Blairs so that he could continue to support the same
    policies.

I would have though someone with real scruples would only sell to the
truly neutral* in this situation if they were really interested in
influencing foreign policy in this situation.

(* swiss, samoans and sengalese of course.)

The sale of a honda 400/4 tank is clearly a powerful weapon in the war
against US foreign policy and really should be used with extreme
    caution.

Fair call. With the US road toll topping 40,000 per year, your chances
of being taken out by a fellow countryman are far greater than being
killed by a terrorist.......'War Against Road Deaths' anyone?.....it may
be as useful as the 'War on Drugs' (overflowing prisons) and definatly
have more of an impact on saving American lives than the 'War on
Terror'......unless the terrorists have a big hit, but how long can you
live all paranoid about 'one day'?

Shame them into coming back into the bosom of the family?

    Hog, Jun 20, 2006
  13. Well with the Communists, we managed to live paranoid from
1945 - 1990, so I'd say four or five decades for a good long
    lasting menace.

In the post cold war decade many folks seemed lost and
confused without their traditional bogeymen so Al Qaida
came as a tremendous relief I think.

BTW, re road deaths vs. terrorists, I recall reading someplace
that people had an aversion to dying in strange or unusual
ways. I wonder if this explains why we're able to take traffic
fatalities so casually while getting all hysterical about terrorists.

Unfortunately it seems the UK bosom may be somewhat overrun with asylum
seekers and other assorted chancers from the former eastern bloc ATM.

TBH I don't think there is any room left for any of the relinquished
    colonies citizens.

Unless of course The UK is considering having another craic at Ireland
to make some extra space for everyone.

Yep, living under the threat of nuclear war was something I got as a
    kid......now it's my kids turn.

The people who make the weapons/war machines would have hated not having
an enemy that needs to be kept in check.....no open cheque books in
    peace time.

Could well be.....I know I don't want my head cut off with a blunt
knife, but I don't give a second thought to the 'cheesecutter' lane
dividers that would do a similar job if I fell off my bike into them.

You will note that those that escaped to the colonies have no wish to
'return' to the 'bosom'. It is people who have had a shittier life than
the English who are now flooding it's shores.

A 'crack' at ireland may well breed a new 'terrorist' threat.....Celts
from across the world may unite, then your'e in trouble

Second that one, all right. It's no exaggeration to
label bu$h a war criminal and a terrorist. His actions
here in the U.S. could be well argued as Treasonous.
