    "bio-security".

what a truckload of old tripe. security is about protecting people from
other people actively trying to attack or violate them. this foot and
mouth thing is about people not following basic health and safety
    procedures.

  3. It used to be called 'bio-containment'..

But I guess they get more funding by tacking on the S word.

It's a buzz word (so it is) but I just took it as following the
appropriate procedures. Didn't feel the need to get upset.

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

But think of the cattle being exported. Somewhere like the Fens would
be OK, because they're mostly arable farmland.
