Pretty days and pleasant nights account for a lot of motorcycle miles, for
the past several days.. The leathers feel good and the chill doesn't really
set in until after about nine o'clock.. Hell.. I'm supposed to be getting
ready for bed about that time anyway.. LOL.. Dreading the hard cold we
usually get around February, I have been trying to ride a little bit every
day.. Don't want the Ol' Green Thang to get too gummed up.. Where the hell's
Fullstate.. Damn.. what's goin' on here ? We hooked up with a bunch of
youngsters on some "sports" and rode up to Lewisville.. Sheesh.. Did those
kids ever embarrass the ole man.. Some of their stunts were amazing.. Those
kids can damn sure handle those things.. Didn't have much trouble keeping
up, but we were mostly just cruisin'.. Pretty much had the highway to
ourselves and those guiys couldn't resist showing off a bit.. Really enjoyed
the ride with them.. After we all filled up on catfish, we picked up a
couple other cruisers and made our way over to McKinney and across to
Greenville.. All backroads and some real curves in there, gentle and slow..
We ran through Quinlan and terrorized the local Dairy Queen for a while and
headed back to the west and Lake Ray Hubbard..It had gotten to be after 10
PM so the temps had dropped and we stopped a couple of times for people to
add some layers.. LOL.. Anyway.. I managed to haul the tired old butt in the
house by 11:30 and it was nitey nite for grampa.. Sure want to thank all the
guys for a fun little ride and the good company.. Enjoyed every minute of
it.. To the two Harleys who joined us, I will say.. "next time, try harder
to keep up".. Little joke there..Those guys didn't have a bit of trouble..
Coupla times when I passed them, I had to slow down to make sure they
weren't caught up in my tail pipes.. LOL .. Ride 'em like you stole 'em...

Thanks Patty.. appreciate the kind offer.. Lot's of folks call me
"Outrider".. I'm not much of a "joiner" and I hate to participate in
"organized" rides.. I've been know to take off with a group and disappear
down an isolated highway, that appealed to me.. LOL.. That being said, I
have ridden with many groups and enjoyed them.. Wanna make a run down into
Mexico ? Now.. we can do that.. been there, and bought a bunch of
t-shirts.. LMAO.. Thanks again for the invite, let me know when you and the
better half want to run, and I'll be happy to join in.. Who hauls the
    coldbeer ??

Can't say that with "certainty".. Haven't heard from him, yet.. LOL.. They
say the memory is the second thing that goes, and I don't remember what that
first thing to go, was... I didn't make an indecent proposal or anything,
did I ?? LMAO.. How ya' been, IceMan.. Good to see ya'..

LOL.. Read that report and LMAO.. Good one and it hit close to home over
here...Good one.. I've almost kicked this crud and feeling a lot better..
The black GMC is runnin' fine and the Ol' Green One is sounding like it is
rarin' to do it again.. Whataburger is offering all kinds of apologies and
the world is lookin' fine.. Ambushed one of these damn corrupt politicians
this week and kicked his ass in public.. You can't ask for more than
that..Now.. about that Chrysler thing, WE can't have it and your buddy has
to make some drastic changes in his lifestyle.. Bad enough that I had to
pick a partner with a damned ol' Ford pickup, without going into the
Chrysler thing.. That will not do... See ya' IceMan.. be good..
