A tough second day. I knew I was making myself a bit if a hostage to
fortune as I typed. Imagine my elation when Siddle took his hat-trick.

 

"Tough" might be an understatement!

From what I heard this morning, the ball was swinging all day. Until
Anderson got his mitts on it, then it stopped. /

We need Finn & Anderson to play at their very best tomorrow just to try
to restrict Australia's lead, I reckon[1]

We'll knock em over for about 150 tonight and then build a lead of
about 600, declare, and then knock em out for under a ton in the last
session for a glorious win.....

Yep. We're meeting in Richmond for "breakfast beers", then getting the
bus down to the ground.

I don't have my actual ticket to hand, so not sure where we're sitting,
but I'll find out and let you know.

 

It is possible to score 260-ish when batting first at the Gabba and
then go on to win the match, but it relies on bowling your opponents
for 75 and 96 in their two innings respectively!
