Can't hurt. You could probably get Rev. Auvache to do the job for sixpence
    or so.

to be fair, none of the four offences were susceptible to
    "Discretion".

Two-up without L plates is pretty cut and dried; and no brakes, and a
seat that fell off when plod touched it, were fairly easy nicks, too.

    That's good going :)

Did anyone else manage to get points while still a learner?

    Points? Fucking points?

This was proper endorsements: not yer manky, namby-pamby, points
    nonsense.

  5. I managed to find myself in the position of zero endorsements, but
banned. Not while a learner, admittedly.

No, I'm ginger and wind resistance is the least of the challenges I've
had to overcome, plus I'm a lot smaller than el verdo.

That said, 145 isn't comfortable and can't be maintained... the bike
    will do more, I won't.

Being smug at work that the release went OK.

That was about five hours before the database server threw a CPU.

  9. No but I got pinched for speeding less than a week after passing my
driving test. I hadn't even sent the pass certificate off.

I was thinking of you as the only real challenger to what I said!

My question, of course, is why do you still have the box?

Have they not realised your 'special' powers at work yet?

You should ask Platy about SOBeemers, he could tell at least 3 tales.
Actually, I don't have the box any more. I lobbed it in with all the RD
spares I sold a couple of years ago. I kept the box that long to remind
me of just how stupid it would be to buy yet another RD400, but when the
opportunities arose I could never hold myself back from buying them.

    They are addictive.

They probably noticed I'm good at debugging code.

Not sure if they've figured out why :)

  19. I snapped both exhaust pushrods on my 750 Bonneville, however it
    wouldn't limp home ;-) and I was towed for 4-5 miles by a GT185.
